Camel Trek along the Atlantic coast

A 3-day easy camel trek, in rhythm with the tide. Tonic hike, tempered with the ocean breeze. The camel trek in this region enables you to discover a still wild coast, as beaches are only accessible by foot. You will hike through isolated villages, dunes and Argan trees.

Day 1: Marrakech / Tafdna Beach

(2 hours 30mn trek)

You will start your hike from the village of Iknioune and descent to a beautiful beach with golden dunes of the Atlantic Ocean. Transfer with your guide to Tafdna, where you will meet the team of camels. Campsite near the Tafenly fishing village. Dinner and overnight under canvas.

Day 2: Tafdna Beach - Iftane

(6 hours trek)

You will hike up to Tagant plateau in the Argan forest, a botanical curiosity of southern Morocco. You will continue along the cliffs and beaches to the vast beach of Sidi Ahmed Sayh. You will follow a steep path to reach the beautiful Iftane beach. Dinner and overnight under canvas.

Day 3: Iftane - Marabout Sidi M'Barek - Essaouira

(4 to 5 hours trek and 45mn drive)

After breakfast, you will walk on a beautiful trail that will give you a nice view of the beach & sea and arrive at the small beautiful green valley of Sidi M’Barek. You will enjoy the waterfalls and dunes; after lunch, it’s time to say goodbye to the team and transfer to Essaouira.
